The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two individuals wanted in connection with an alleged multi-million naira fraud linked to the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a digital trading platform.

The suspects, identified as Folashade Odelana and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, are accused of orchestrating fraudulent schemes that resulted in significant financial losses for unsuspecting investors.

In a notice published on its official social media platforms on Wednesday, June 4, the anti-graft agency urged members of the public with useful information on the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward.

The EFCC reiterated its commitment to combating cyber-enabled financial crimes, particularly within the fast-growing digital asset space.

The CBEX platform reportedly collapsed in April, allegedly wiping out over ₦1.3 trillion from investors’ wallets and leaving many Nigerians in financial distress.
