The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that only someone blind would deny the infrastructural transformation President Bola Tinubu has brought to Abuja.
Speaking during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in the capital city, Wike praised President Tinubu for his commitment to developing the FCT.
“Mr. President has delivered first-class infrastructure to Abuja,” he said. “Everyone can attest to the fact that Abuja has truly changed. We are happy and grateful for it. I thank God Almighty for granting Mr. President the right leadership to deliver the dividends of democracy to the residents of Abuja.”
Wike dismissed criticisms of the administration’s performance in the FCT as baseless, adding: “I don’t see why anyone would say Mr. President has not done well—unless you’re blind or unwilling to acknowledge the good that has been done.”
He concluded by expressing satisfaction that many of the administration’s promises to Abuja residents have been fulfilled.
