Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim says the club’s lack of transfer activity in January will benefit them in the long run — and insists he has “no regrets” about his time at Old Trafford so far.
Amorim’s side head into their Super Sunday clash with Bournemouth sitting 15th in the Premier League table.
United have lost three of their last four matches but remain in contention for European silverware, with a Europa League semi-final against favourites Athletic Bilbao coming up next month.
“In January, we lost players and didn’t bring in new ones,” Amorim admitted. “That was a risk.”
