Arne Slot has dismissed reports suggesting Darwin Nunez is being excluded from Liverpool’s starting line-up due to financial clauses.
Portuguese outlet A Bola claimed this week that Liverpool would owe Benfica £4.25 million (€5 million) if Nunez starts another Premier League match.
The striker, who joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 in a deal potentially worth up to £85 million, has started only one of the club’s last 16 league games.
