Nigerian Woman Celebrates One Year of Survival After Losing Leg to Cancer
Oluwaseunfunmi Akindeko, a Nigerian woman, has marked the first anniversary of her survival after a battle with cancer that resulted in the loss of one of her legs.
Reflecting on her journey, she shared an emotional message on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
“One year ago today, I lost my leg to cancer. The enemy’s plan was not just for me to lose my leg, but for me to be buried. But today, I stand as proof that God is not done with me—that His mercy speaks louder than any verdict of the enemy. Thank you, Lord Jesus,” she wrote.
Her testimony has inspired many, as she continues to embrace life with gratitude and faith.
