On Tuesday, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, administered the oath of office to 16 new permanent secretaries at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Emphasizing the importance of decisiveness and diligence in their roles, the governor urged the appointees to contribute to the fulfillment of his administration’s commitments, particularly focusing on enhancing the welfare and security of the people.
Acknowledging the crucial role of permanent secretaries in achieving government mandates, Fubara encouraged them to uphold integrity in their ministries, assuring unwavering support when they stand for what is right.
Following the ceremony, the newly sworn-in permanent secretaries were promptly presented with official cars.
