Ghanaian Patrick Amenuvor initiated a “Stand-a-thon” to challenge the Guinness World Record for the longest individual standing, aiming to endure without sitting from January 14 to January 21, 2024.

Regrettably, he decided to halt his Guinness World Record attempt just a few hours into the challenge on January 14, 2024. Amenuvor cited concerns about potentially violating some of the Guinness World Record rules as the reason for discontinuing the attempt.

Expressing his decision, he stated, “At this point, I deem it fit to get back with my team to review our attempt so far and make sure to avoid any errors that may hinder my future attempt.”

In conclusion, Amenuvor extended gratitude to his supporters and fellow Ghanaians, emphasizing that this attempt remains a passionate dream he is committed to fulfilling.
