The National Assembly has adjusted its plenary resumption date to January 30, 2024, a change from the initially scheduled date of January 23, 2024. This shift follows the recent approval of the N28.7 trillion budget for the year 2024, enacted just two weeks ago.
Yahaya Danzaria, the Clerk to the House of Representatives, communicated the rescheduling in a message directed to all members of the House. The message regrets any inconveniences caused and specifies that plenary sessions for both the Senate and the House of Representatives will commence at 11:00 am prompt on the new date.
