Billionaire investor Femi Otedola, currently positioned as Nigeria’s fourth richest individual with a valuation of $1.1 billion, has made a noteworthy return to the Forbes Billionaire list. The surge in his wealth is attributed to his strategic moves in Geregu Power, where he now owns over 70% and engaged institutional investors in 2022 and 2023.

Beyond his energy ventures, Otedola boasts significant real estate holdings in Lagos, Dubai, London, and Monaco, alongside ownership of shares in Zenith Bank and FBN Holdings. He stands 17th in Africa’s rich list and holds the 2,353rd global position.

Otedola’s ranking follows the likes of Aliko Dangote, CEO of Dangote, with a net worth of $14.6 billion, telecom giant Mike Adenuga at $7.4 billion, and BUA Group founder Abdulsamad Rabiu with a net worth of $6.3 billion.

This recognition by Forbes aligns with Otedola’s recent philanthropic act, donating N1 billion to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
