The Lagos State Police Command has announced a man by the name of Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, as a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into the passing of Afrobeats sensation Mohbad. A reward of N1 million is being offered to anyone who can assist in his apprehension.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, tragically passed away four weeks ago under circumstances shrouded in controversy.
Following widespread public concern and nationwide protests, law enforcement authorities have initiated inquiries involving multiple individuals. Notably, Afrobeats artist Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry have been invited for questioning by the police.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed in a recent statement that Primeboy is now a wanted individual due to his failure to comply with a police summons during an ongoing investigation.
“Ibrahim is approximately 1.64 meters tall, possesses a male gender, a dark complexion, and distinct tribal marks, identifying him as Yoruba by ethnicity. His last known residence is situated at 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu,” the official notice stated.
“If you encounter him, kindly contact the nearest police station or dial 0803 688 5727. The Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has authorized a generous reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) for any individual providing valuable information that results in his apprehension.”
