Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, inaugurated 23 new judges of the Federal High Court on Wednesday.
The ceremony took place at the Supreme Court in Abuja.
Justice Ariwoola emphasized the importance of judges consistently applying constitutional provisions when deciding their assigned cases. He further emphasized that, despite any public criticism or attacks on the judiciary, the constitution of the country should never be overridden or superseded by public opinion, regardless of its seriousness.
