A Nigerian man, Peter Andrew Adagadzu, tragically passed away just 20 days after his wedding.
He succumbed to a brief illness in the early hours of Friday, September 29, 2023.
Adagadzu and his wife, Blessing Christopher, had exchanged vows on September 9, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. Unfortunately, he fell ill just three days after their joyous union.
A friend, Agumson Mark Asele, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, writing, “This is how we celebrated your wedding day on September 9th, 2023, and today we are typing ‘rest in peace.’ What a world, brother. Keep resting; we will surely miss you.”
Another mourner, Beauty Natasha, expressed her grief, saying, “Uncle P, as I used to call him, why so soon, God? Why? Your wedding is not even two weeks old, and you left without saying goodbye, leaving my aunt as a widow in a marriage that’s barely two weeks old. Kai, duniya, what a wicked world. May your soul find eternal rest with the Lord.”
