Actress Bimbo Ademoye revealed that her initial encounter with betrayal occurred when she was just two years old, and it was from her mother who walked out of her life. She candidly discussed this during a recent interview with media personality Hauwa Magaji.
When the conversation turned to her mother, given her tendency to predominantly celebrate her father on social media, Bimbo clarified, “My mother is still very much alive and resides a mere fifteen to twenty minutes away from me. However, we do not share a close friendship. My mother left when I was just two years old, marking my first experience with betrayal, and over time, I have endeavored to cultivate a connection with her. At present, we maintain a relationship in the sense that I fulfill my obligations as a child, such as covering her rent and providing an allowance. That’s the extent of our relationship. I have come to terms with this lack of friendship and closeness for the sake of my mental well-being and personal sanity.”
