On Thursday, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) announced its intention to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic demise of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, who was widely recognized as Mohbad.
The musician passed away on Tuesday evening and has since been laid to rest. He was just 27 years old.
Following the controversial death of the young singer, two days later, Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that the police are fully dedicated to conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, who was known as Mohbad and who has recently left us. We are fully aware of the profound sadness surrounding his untimely departure,” he expressed.
