Manchester United has unveiled an impressive sponsorship agreement with Qualcomm Technologies, a prominent US-based company. Starting from the upcoming season, the renowned Snapdragon brand from Qualcomm Technologies will take the place of the TeamViewer logo on the club’s shirts.
The Premier League club, without disclosing specific financial terms, is believed to have aimed for an annual agreement valued at £60 million ($75 million).
This remarkable figure matches or potentially exceeds the previous largest shirt deal in football history.
Qualcomm has been a valued global partner of Manchester United since last year.
Manchester United plc has officially announced an extended strategic partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. As part of this collaboration, the Snapdragon brand will prominently feature on the front of the iconic club shirt, as stated in the club’s official statement.
As part of the expanded agreement, starting from the 2024/25 season, Snapdragon will take on the prominent role of being Manchester United’s primary shirt sponsor. This partnership will include branding on the home, away, and third kits of both the men’s and women’s teams.”
United has not clinched the Premier League title since the departure of former manager Alex Ferguson in 2013.
