On Tuesday, Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, generously donated N500 million to support 500 families.
The recipients were selected from six local government areas in the North-Central state.
Senator Tinubu visited Jos, the state capital, to offer her condolences to the victims. She encouraged them not to lose hope, assuring them that her husband and other stakeholders are diligently working towards establishing lasting peace in the strife-torn communities.
The First Lady expressed deep concern about the ongoing crisis affecting the State, especially the Mangu community. She shared her distress at learning about the loss of lives and property due to the conflict.
The First Lady emphasized that this gesture reflects her commitment to assisting the families affected by providing them with shelter and essential necessities.
During his address, State Governor Caleb Mutfwang praised the First Lady’s compassionate leadership.
He described her as a leader with a deep passion for humanity and encouraged the recipients to share the assistance within their households, emphasizing the importance of not being selfish in its distribution.
