The 63rd edition of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) 2023 Annual General Conference has commenced in Abuja, marked by the inaugural ceremony held on Sunday evening.
President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by fellow government dignitaries, is currently participating in the event being held at the velodrome within Nigeria’s capital, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Getting it Right and Charting the Course for Nigeria’s Nation Building”.
NBA President Yakubu Maikyau has highlighted that this year’s conference will revolve around three key thematic areas: security, economy, and the administration of justice. He expresses his aspiration that the outcomes of the conference will enable the NBA to formulate a comprehensive agenda concerning these crucial themes. This agenda will then serve as a foundation for constructive engagement with the Presidency, aiming to foster positive developments for the betterment of the nation.
