President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasized that maintaining the unity of the nation remains his foremost priority.
Addressing the audience during the public launch of the book titled “Brutally Frank,” penned by former Minister of Information Edwin Clark, in Abuja on Thursday, Tinubu’s sentiments were conveyed by Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). Tinubu stated that while Nigeria’s intricacies are undeniable, they are not insurmountable.
The President also acknowledged that the present challenges arising from the removal of fuel subsidies are transitory. He assured that the difficulties would gradually subside as palliative measures are introduced.
Tinubu articulated, “Ensuring the unity of Nigeria is an imperative duty. This nation, despite its complexities, is within our ability to effectively govern. Our rich blend of cultures and faiths is a wellspring of our resilience.”
