Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, is mourning the loss of his mother.
Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, Wizkid’s mother, passed away at approximately 1:30 am on a Friday.
Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s dedicated manager, confirmed the unfortunate event to The PUNCH, stating that Mrs. Balogun peacefully departed in the early hours of Friday.
Yes, she passed away this morning around 1:30 am,” Aare confirmed.
The deceased, Balogun, leaves behind two children: Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
