The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation exercise is set to recommence in Borno State, marking a significant milestone after a 13-year suspension of the three-week course due to persistent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.

On Tuesday, the NYSC made an announcement on Twitter regarding a change of venue for prospective corps members who have been assigned to the second stream of Batch ‘B’ orientation course in the state.

All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) assigned to Borno are required to reissue their Call-up letters through the NYSC portal,” the statement read.

“The start date for the Orientation Course has been revised to August 18th, 2023. All impacted PCMs must adhere to the dates indicated on their Call-up letters for reporting.”

The date of the commencement of the Orientation Course has also been changed to 18th August 2023.

All affected PCMs are to report on the dates printed on their Call-up letters.

Thank you.
Management.
