President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, November 23, unveiled the new naira notes.
This is coming weeks after the Central Bank of Nigeria said it would be redesigning the N200, N500 and N1000 notes.
Buhari unveiled the new currency notes on Wednesday morning before the federal executive council (FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja.
Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (BN), was in attendance during the unveiling ceremony.
