Nduka Obaigbena and his family laid their mother, late Princess Margaret Obaigbena, to rest on Saturday, August 20.
Mr Obaigbena is the founder and Publisher of ThisDay newspaper and chairman of ARISE News TV.
His mother, Princess Obaigbena, a retired Nursing Officer in the old Bendel State Government and Special Adviser to three different governors in Delta State, died few months ago at the age of 87 years.
A mass was celebrated in her honour at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Owa-Oyibo, Diocese of Ika, Delta State, on Saturday, August 20.
Some of the dignitaries that graced the event include, Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okoma, Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Central Bank, Mr. Godwin Emiefele, Labour Party Presidential Candidate Mr. Peter Obi, Governor of Ekiti, Mr. Kayode Fayemi, Business Mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
