A serious protest is going on in Igweocha axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for the release of the Supreme Leader of IPOB.
According to the video making rounds online, the suspected IPOB members flooded the streets with Biafra flags demanding for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
While others were trekking, others could be seen hanging on moving vehicles.
Concerning the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, reports have it that it was a collaborative effort between Interpol and security operatives in Nigeria.
The Attorney-General of the Federation & Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, while speaking to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, disclosed that Kanu was arrested and extradited to Nigeria on Sunday.
Multiple reports have it that Nnamdi Kanu was not arrested in the United Kingdom as earlier claimed
The British High Commission spokesperson, Dean Hurlock, while confirming Kanu’s arrest, told The Cable that he was not picked up in the UK where he is based.
