A young man identified as Michael Ikenna, and his fiancee also identified as Nantana Chiewpanitch was arrested in a sting operation by the undercover police who arranged to purchase 10 grams of cocaine on March 26.
Their apartment in Bangkok was searched and cocaine, as well as hundreds of plastic bags used to package drugs for sale, were discovered.
The Nigerian man had claimed he was an exporter of dried dory fish to Nigeria but the police revealed it is a shell company used to launder his drug money.
