In a boost for the ongoing inoculation campaign for COVID-19 vaccines, one of the biggest monarchy in the world, Queen Elizabeth of England has decided to get one of the COVID vaccines.
The Queen who is 94 years old and Duke of Edinburgh (99 years old) both decided to get the vaccine today according to a palace source, although they did not reveal which of the vaccines they took. There are currently 3 approved vaccines in the UK, Biontech Pfizer vaccine, Astrazeneca vaccine and Moderna vaccine. With a total of 1.3m people now vaccinated in England, the drive for COVID vaccination has been heating up over the last few weeks.
